I will not answer your question if I feel like I couldn't give you good advice on it, but I will tell you I don't feel comfortable answering it. I won't just leave you hanging. I am taking the SATs for the very first time on Saturday. I'm a little nervous...How long is it? I've heard so many different answers. Any advice or helpful tips from past experience?

i recently took the sat for the first time also.
Don't be nervous! you can take the SAT as many times as you like, so try to look at the first one as sort of a practice run.
When I took it, it lasted about 4 hours, with a few short breaks. if i remember correctly there are 10 sections (they are pretty small, about 30 minutes each) and one writing section.
