Q: I am really wanting to curl my hair a bit and give it more style but I've never done anything of the sort and am not sure where to start.
My hair is long, very straight, and quite thin. It gets greasy fast. Even if I do not blow-dry it, it will dry completely straight.
I've seen curling irons but am not sure which one to buy and which ones are safest on hair. I have also seen rollers/curlers but, again, I'm not sure what type I need that'd be safe for my hair type. I also am not sure what sort of hairspray or other sort of product would not weigh my hair down too much.
How do I curl it safely and what products should be purchased? Suggestions (even on products) would be great. Step-by-step "How to Curl Hair" is appreciated. Specifics are excellent!
if i were you i would try getting a curler that you can changed the level to it (heat level)
if you cant find it/and you wanna stay on the safe side
try to find some spray on hair hydration hairspray

my step sister has that
its purple with a red lid and has a kangaroo on it
i forget the brand but its the brand that says "add some roo to your doo" i think its called aussi or something like that

Thank you very much for the product recommendation!
