I'm a twenty-two year old female. I'm pregnant with twins right now. Well I've had strept throat the past couple of days and I haven't been able to eat. My husband was just shot in Iraq so he's been home and for the past couple of weeks he's been laying with his head on my stomach every chance he gets, and he knows exactly how much my girls kick and move. Last night he got me really worked up because he said that they weren't kicking and moving as much as normal. Is this because I haven't been able to eat really? I'm afraid to go to the hospital again because they always tell me I'm way too paranoid. Thank you very much. (link)
Oh honey, you're in a very tough place right now. I feel for you. You don't say how far along you are, or if you know for sure that you have strep--did you get a test?

Being paranoid is the right of a mother-to-be. You need to do whatever it takes to put your mind at ease--talk to your doctor. Make an appointment, tell whoever that answers the phone that you are pregnant and sick, and that you need to see a doctor right away. Think about everything that you want to ask them, write it down in a list and take it with you. There are no stupid questions, especially with babies involved. Get the answers that you need to put your mind at rest.

Sorry, I'm seven months along and yes I definitely have strept.
