My name is Catherine, I'll be 15 soon. I have been a member of this site for about 2 and a half years. I love giving advice, and love helping people. My answers are honest, and I try my best not to give harsh answers. I know other columnists can be rude sometimes, I'm not like that.
My friends are my life, and I do everything I can to help them when they ask for my advice or help. I'm not close to my mom or dad. I have been through almost everything, so I know how it feels, and I usually know what to do.
I dont have one kind of question I answer, I answer all topics, about everything.

Ask me anything and I will give you the best advice that I could possibly think of.

advice

16/f/wa.

i just started a new semester with all new teachers from last semester and i want all my teachers to like me, and they basically do. but there's this one teacher i feel like i can relate to better than the other ones. probably because shes younger-ishhh.. and i don't know what i should do to get her to like me. because i am going through some hard stuff right now with my family and sometimes i just need someone to listen. i've already kind of confided in her but now it's like weird.. i dont know how to explain it. i know i can't expect teachers to be personal counselors but maybe just a friend. anything i could do to get her to like me?

any advice?

I'm the same way with 2 of my teachers. I met one at an after school program, and that's where we started talking and stuff. Stay after school or something and talk to them. Talk about school and things you are interested in. After I began talking to the other teacher, I found out we had a lot more in common than I thought. So yeah, just have a chat with her once in a while.
