i live in new york and i want to become an actress eevryone keeps saying to do community theater and such. whats a community theater and can someone help me find one i can enroll myself into. also, what other things can i join if i want to become an actress ok thanks alot. it has always been my dream. it depends on what kind of actress you want to be. if you want to be on broadway, then doing community theater can get you somewhere. also, going to open auditions for broadway and other theaters are a great experience. if you want to be a film actress, then going to theater auditions can help too. try researching "acting auditions in new york". good luck!
