ok well my hair has been damaged by a hair straightener so today i went to this hairdresser and asked her for a treatment and she gave me something but then she told me to prevemnt hair damage to when u straighten your hair to put hairspray or some product first and then go over it with the hair straightener because instead of the straightener taking out the moisture and water out of your hair it is taking out the priduct do it protects your hair. I just want to make sure and know if it;s correct because the last thing i need is for my hair to be more damaged!! i'm sure she wouldn't lie to me but just incase! thanks in advance:) (link)

yes she is definately correct.you should use a spray for your hair whenever straightening it.make sure u use the right spray.ask the hairdresser which one as there a re many products that can be used.be sure not to just use any spray , it must be spray made for straightening or it could damage your hair more.but once again, she is correct.using a spray will help your hair
