Ok well i had my period for december already but i started getting again now and i dont know why cause i had it at the beginning of december like it ended i think december 7th or something so does your period run by months or days? (link)

So, a girl's period is a 28 day cycle, so about a month.
When you first start your period it's EXTREMELY LIKELY not to get your period for even months. I had a friend who had missed it for 9 months. So don't worry when it's not from a day to day basis.
Somethings that might prolong the period process may be sports! Dancing is one of the main sports that makes your period irregular!
So i wouldn't expect your period to fall on the 7th of every month,and I wouldn't even expect it every month!
But to answer your question, it runs by days.. but i guess you could call them months!
