Basically what the title is. I'm having trouble knowing whether or not I should take the next step for fear of being rejected. If I knw what to look for if he likes me then I may be more confedent to take the next step.

if he plays around and jokes with you, he probably likes you. or if he's shy around you. or both! he'll probably tell your friends if they bother him about it a lot. it sounds cruel, but it really works. ask your friends to ask him and if the answer is yes, make your move! guys think it's adorable when girls make the first move. good luck!
