Hi, I'm Andi! I hope to be a psychologist someday, and I like to think that I give pretty good advice.

I'm 15 and a sophomore girl. I am thinking of going to like a boarding school next year if my parents would let me. I hate my mom and i really want a new start in getting friends and stuff. My first question is is it worth it? I would miss my pets and some family and my friends. But I can't stand my mom and I want a new start- badly. I also want to try living on my own. And if you have been to boarding school how was it? Or if you know someone who went, how was it? My second question is what are some good ones? I live in PA, near philly. I dont really care where it is, even though, I'd prefer to be closer to home. I want a good school that looks good for colleges and has good kids. (link)
I go to the Hotchkiss School, which is a college prep boarding school in Connecticut. 90% of the top boarding schools are in New England. I loveee boarding school. I miss my friends and family and dogs a lot, but I get to go home for break all the time and I've met so many amazing people at Hotchkiss. I'm a tour guide so I know a lot about my school, so feel free to im me anytime, my sn is: doubleaaduracell

My school's website is www.hotchkiss.org

Here are some other top New England boarding schools:

Exeter
Andover
Deerfield
Loomis Chaffee
Choate Rosemary Hall
Miss Porter's (all girls)
Taft

Those are the ivy leagues of boarding schools..but there are some other pretty good ones.
