I'm applying to a private high school this year for the 08-09 school year, and when I read the application form, I found this question: Please tell us why you want to attend Bishop ______ High School. I don't understand. I want to go because it's not as expensive as other private schools I checked out, and is way better than our 2-star public high school, but I assume that that is not quite appropriate to enter on the form. Any help please? (link)

You may want to talk about:

-Their good academic records
-Any awards that they may have gotten (How you admire them)
-Even if you haven't, you can say that you've heard of the excellent individual attention teachers give to students, and how you would love to take advantage of a great opportunity to improve or expand academically.
-If you'd like to play a sport, say that you would like to be a part of the "inspirational athletic organization" where you feel you could "gain not only muscle, but a sense of team work". (Cheesey I know)
-The interesting, stimulating, different, classes able to be taken strike you as a great way to have fun and stay positive about school.

Hope I helped. :]
