Yesterday I wasn't thinking, and my windshield on my car and my windows were dirty. However, I didn't have enough time to wash my car, so I got a bottle of Windex and cleaned the windows. I also got a few spots of bird crap off the hood of my car with the Windex. Afterward my mom was like, "You used Windex on your car?" which worries me. Is Windex going to eat away at my paint job (white)? What do I need to do? Thank you all!

It is fine to use Windex on the windows and mirrors, but it is not meant for the rest of your car. As far as I know it won't instantly eat away at the paint, but after awhile it could cause damage such as dulling. Better to stop by your local auto supply store and pick up some car wash detergent.
