I'll make my story short. I like this boy, and no I'm not an immature little brat who's too young to date. Anywho, I have a crush on this boy very much and this guy rejects me saying that he doesn't feel that way about me. But he's been hanging out with everyday and says he misses me and hugs me plenty of times. I like him so much but I really want him to like me back but all I get from him is that he says I'm like his little sister which is totally embarrassing and lame. I don't know how to get this guy to like me, when he likes to hang out with me all ready, and I don't get why he wouldn't like me! It's just hard and I need someone's help. How would I make this guy like me more than a little sister? He's not like any other guys. He's very blunt and shy to share his emotions but when it comes down to it, he does say what he feels. And I want him to like me more than a friend really badly. If he hangs out with me so much, I don't get why he doesn't like me more than a friend. Please help! Thank you.
It's very hard to MAKE someone like you. Truthfully you can't change someone's feelings. A person must do it on their own. It may seem hard, and it may hurt to know that he may never feel the same way about you. But if you truthfully do like him, don't you think that maybe, just maybe, you should accept being friends, and let it go? I believe that if you truly like someone you will take being friends then not having them in your life at all. Maybe someday he'll wake up and say "OH WOW! I LOVE HER!" But for now it's best that you don't push anything, it might ruin the friendship. I'm sure if you don't push anything, his sisterly love for you will grow into something deeper, but remember feelings are feelings and you can't change them unless they're yours.
