I'm 5'4, 15, a straight A student, and a varsity cheerleader at my school. I have a lot of friends, both guys and girls. I guess I'm considered pretty popular, even though I'm kind of shy and bookish.
I was talking with some of my guy friends that are on the varsity football team, and they told me that one of my friends, Skyler, likes me...a lot. He told them that, and they weren't supposed to tell me, but they did anyway. I guess they were all talking about the girls they like at football practice, or whatever.
Skyler and I are friends, but we're not that close. They said that he was going to ask me out, but decided not to because he thought I would say no. One of my friends, Jack, even said he thought that I was unapproachable, which is ridiculous beacuase I've always been nice to everyone and we're friends... How could he possibly see me as unapproachable?
Jack was talking to me about how oblivious I was, because apparently, everyone knew he liked me but me. I guess Skyler could have thought I was just ignoring the fact that he liked me, but I didn't even know!I thought he just liked me as a friend, I mean he always hugs me and makes an effort to be around me a lot, he compliments me...tells me I'm beautiful. I thought he was just playing around though.
The problem is I like him a lot too, and I want him to ask me out, if he hasn't lost interest because he's a great guy and really sweet. What should I do? Do you guys think he really likes me, I know you don't know him, but from what I've written? I need opinions and advice please, anything would be helpful. (link)

Probably, if you're as great as you say you are, he probably thinks he's not good enough for you and is too nervous. Maybe you should ask him out. hahah
