Ok heres the thing I am almost eighteen and Im so shy that I can hardly or never have been able to talk to a guy without hittin a beamer basically. This is due to embarrassment for them incase anyone sees them talkin to a girl that looks like me.
To describe me I have a button nose, I am big boned my hair never stays straight long and I hate myself infact the only thing I like about myself is my eyes but guys dont fall for eyes do they?
I know this will prob sound sad to most but I need tips any tips you can give on how to be a little less shy and insecure.

I was/am the exact way. But I am slowly getting over it and I am pretty confident with myself so far.
First you need to have some faith in yourself. You have to believe you can overcome this before you try to do it.
I'm sure you are really attractive, but you can't see it, so that's where your problem is. Try new styles for hair, clothes, and even make up to bring out those eyes of yours. Magazines like Seventeen, Teen Vogue, ect; have really cool styles and outfits put together that you can try out. When you are happy about your looks, your condidence will shine.
Now, are you interested in anything particular? Horseback riding, dancing, martial arts, drama, writing? There are so, so, so many activities out there and there's bound to be something that you're interested in. You will meet someone there that is interested in the activity you like and you will hit it off. Trust me on this. I just joined a new horseback riding stable after quitting two years ago and I've met some great people already. I'm having fun while leaving my shyness behind!
Just relax, take it on step at a time, and stay true to your heart.
