So we have to run a mile (4 times around a big track) for a time (meaning it's a race!!!) I am not that good a runner...what can i do to get me a good time and not get cramps or out of breath?! help asap! i need it by tomorrow (link)

dont try running as fast as you can. just get a good pace and try not to walk at all. also if you get a friend to jog with you it will keep your mind off running.if you get a bad cramp slow down to a fast walk.
by the way drinking water actually PREVENTS cramps it does not cause them.
