Q: there is this girli used to be bestof friends withfor about 2 years, and recently i have beenhaving huge problems with her brother and family, and i have kind of grown apart from her aswell... she is a really nice girl andfun tobewith but i just feel like i need time away from her, it is like she smothers me..always calling, always sowing up at my house, inviting herself to go out with me and my friensd, or me and my family (and my family hates her) she never gives me any space... and so well i want a break from out friendship for a while.. some weeks, maybe a mont or two... but i do not want to be rude and bitchy to her, i dont call her anymore (but she remains to call me) i dont invite her out anymore (but he always invites me out and i make excuses to not go)i dont talk to her on the internet (yet she keeps sendin me emails and offline messages) i would think she would getthe idea in her head that i dont want to talk to her, but she obviously hasnt... so what can i do? i dont want to be rude, because she really is a good person.. but i dont know what to do... i know i wont be able to just talk to her and tell her, because i feel like that is not nice...and i am running low on ideas...
any sugestions??

I have had a friend just like this...and yes you can use the word 'Annoying' because it is true, she is annoying you isn't she?
What I did with my friend: One night she called me and I was just sooo irritated...I was like "I think I need a break from you...I need to think about some stuff."
It kinda felt like I was breaking up with her, lol. But she was like "Okay, call me when you're okay" and that was that...I called her a few weeks later and we were fine, no fights, not anything. We were cool, and she wasn't on my backside anymore.
