I need some hair/makeup tips for the begging of school!
Okayy, I have very very light tanned skin, and i have little freckles on my face that aren't that noticable to some people but to me i can see them so well and a few zits. i have brown eyes and dirty blonde hair. my hair is always frizzy any products i can use? and what things could i use on my skin so the zits and everything aren't noticeable, and what eye shadow should a brown-eyed blonde use? Anything helps! i will send feedback!
First of all don't layer on loads of makeup - try to keep your look natural. As for your freckles try to embrace them but if you really really hate them make sure you use a sunscreen (even in winter) as this will help to stop them getting bigger.
I have very naturally curly hair which is prone to frizz and the best products that I have found are Frizz Ease by John Freida and Pantene (either sleek and smooth for straight hair or perfect curls to enhance curls or waves).
Most importantly, I have found that only brushing my hair when i have conditioner in it (once a day) helps to prevent frizz. Just make sure you use a good conditioner and perhaps a weekly intensive conditioner.
There are loads of things on the market that you can use for spots however, I have always found that distilled witchhazel (which you should be able to buy from any pharmacy) is very good. It dries spots out a lot quicker, reducing the redness and size of them. It should only be applied to the spot itself, not the surrounding area otherwise you will end up with dry skin - oh and use a cotton bud, not your fingers. It costs less than £1 here so I don't expect that it will be very expensive. A little word of warning - don't squeeze them - it just irritates them and can leave you with scars.
If you feel the need to cover up your spots choose a concealer which is one tone lighter than your skin colour then apply a small amount to the spot and spread using a cotton bud (try not to use your fingers as this will only introduce more bacteria to the spot). Maybelline do a good concealer called EverFresh Concealer.
On to eye makeup, slate blues, grays and plums (be careful that plum colours aren't too red or you may look like you have sore eyes) help to accentuate brown eyes. If you go on to google and type in "eye make up, brown eyes" you will find loads of sites that will tell you colours that will suit and suggetions of how to apply it.
I hope this helped.
