Advice I'm getting my wisdom teeth out next monday. I wasn't worried about it much until today because today was the day I scheduled it. I need to get them out before school starts, so this was the best appt to get. I'm not sure what it'll be like though. They said I have a 'bony impaction' or something like that, and the sheet I got says I have to wear short sleeves for an IV. I really have never had an IV before & I think they seem like they'd hurt a LOT. Basically, if you've had your wisdom teeth out, what was it like / did it hurt a lot? Thank you so much in advance. I had all of mine taken out in surgery, before they had broken through the gums/ It was a horrible experience to be honest, as they had to stitch up my mouth where the holes were and I had trouble eating/talking for about a week after. Mine was a worst case scenario pretty much, but generally having your Wisdom teeth removed is not a pleasant experience, moreso when they're not cut through properly yet.
