about
Hii. :]
I'm a 17 year old girl from the East Coast of the United States.
Although i'm young, i've been through my share of problems.
I'm not going to tell you I can answer any question, but I'll certainly try.
I don't judge people because of the fact that I don't like to be judged myself.
I'm generally a nice person, but if you give me attitude, you won't be happy with my response.
I love listening to music, etc.
I have a job & have volunteered before,
I've been through drivers ed & have my license + a car,
I'm going to be a senior next year so I can help you with high school experiences.
All in all, i'll try to help you no matter what.
I also tend to reference websites when giving my answers because then I have proof that my advice is valid.
Anyways. I'd like to end this with my favorite quote [I dunno why it's my favorite quote, but yeah. :D]
"If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Going to Warped Tour on 8/9 :]!

advice
14/f-uhm, well i have longish brown hair, [boob-length] & i recently got my hair cut about a month ago. it used to be like belly button length. back when my hair was longer, i started to notice that it was like, falling out. not in like huge clumps, but i was suddenly aware of like stray hairs on my shoulder & pillow & stuff.
*i know that you lose like 100 hairs a day* but like i never noticed it this much before. now it seems to be getting worse. when i take my hair out of a ponytail,i lose like 6 strands each time. when my hairs wet, there seem to be strands that are mcuh longer than the others, but it just turns out that they're no longer like attached to my scalp or whatver. i talked to my doctor, but she didn't put much thought into it. i know it could be a thyroid problem; but my hairdresser says i'm too young for that. does anyone have advice to make it stop or at least slow down?! thanks mucho! ♥
Edit-
Make sure to take vitamins!
That was another thing my hairdresser told me. :]

Hey.
My hair does the exact same thing. Even when I went to the hairdressers, she said my hair was coming out "too much". It's partly because my hair is super thick, but also because I don't wash it like I should. You're supposed to massage the shampoo & conditioner into your hair. Also, change the shampoo & conditioner you use. Make sure it's not one of those 2-in-1 kinds.
My hair hasn't been coming out as much now that I got a haircut & changed shampoos & conditioners. Also, don't pull it back too hard when you put your hair in a ponytail. It pulls the strands out more. It's something people do without noticing, but does make a difference.
Good luck, and if it doesn't stop, talk to a hairdresser about it. They'll know more about your hair than a doctor would.
(Rating: 5) thank you so much; that definitely helped me feel better. i just wanted to make sure i didn't have some insane hair-losing disease; so thanks! =)
