My birthday was June 30th. It was my 16th birthday. I don't know why they forgot my birthday.. they've never forgotten anything of mine before. There wasn't anything going on around that time.. I don't know what the problem is! I am not a bad girl.. my GPA is a 3.85 and I'm always doing chores. Why did they forget? Should I say something? Because every time I tell them they did something wrong, even if it was that they didn't put on their seatbelt, I'm grounded for 2 weeks, and I'm not even exaggerating.

but my birthday was june 30th and i was turning 16 also and my parents forgot my birthday also!
i was so mad. i told my mom i was like "thanks for forgetting my birthday" and she felt so bad!
she said sorry and promised that she wont ever forget it again. they pobably forgot because youre turning older and they hate that fact so they try to avoide it. or maybe like my mom said they work to much and have other things on their mind. dont take it personaly. they were probably busy. i know it was a bigg shock: it was for me too, to just wake up and have your parents talk to you like normal in the morning and not even one birthday cake or one present not even a kiss to say happy birthday. i know its hard. but theyre your parents. plus it was just once. my parents have forgotten my birthday since i turned 14! dont worry you'll be okay. just tell them let them know you're really dissapointed!

Thanks, and I told them yesterday... they said that they had been so busy with work that week that they overlooked it.. and before I told them, they actually had a make-up party planned for me! They didn't forget.. they were spending the time planning how to make it up to me. Thank you for the advice [and your ramblings about yourself.. LOL], though!
