I'm a 17 year old girl from the East Coast of the United States.
Although i'm young, i've been through my share of problems.
I'm not going to tell you I can answer any question, but I'll certainly try.
I don't judge people because of the fact that I don't like to be judged myself.
I'm generally a nice person, but if you give me attitude, you won't be happy with my response.
I love listening to music, etc.
I have a job & have volunteered before,
I've been through drivers ed & have my license + a car,
I'm going to be a senior next year so I can help you with high school experiences.
All in all, i'll try to help you no matter what.
I also tend to reference websites when giving my answers because then I have proof that my advice is valid.

advice
today the day before my bday my mom comes right out with me and dad are getting a divorce. im freaking out and ive had a party with my friends for like 3 weeks so i cant bail out. what can i do? i know i cant change thier minds but my dad takes it out on me and my sibs and my moms all depressed. so i guess what im asking is if your parents got a divorce how did it turn out? should i be worried?
My parents are divorced too. They divorced when I was about three years old though, so I didn't have to go through the process. The end result was that I was told to live with my dad and grandparents, and we could visit my mom every other weekend.
It was all good until recently when my parents have been getting into a lot more arguments and refuse to speak to each other at all. Living with my grandparents too has made it like living with a different type of mom, because she can be very irritating and nosy.
Don't be worried. Think about it this way: Would you rather them fight all the time and you have to live with all that, or would you rather them be seperate and happy once they find other people? Just comfort them and they'll calm down.
