When you apply for a college, when they look at your grades etc. what is your GPA? I was just wondering...
(link)
your GPA is your grade point average. on every report card it should show your GPA. this is a way of showing how good your grades are. 4 equals an "a" average, 3 equals a "b" average, 2 equals a "c" average, and 1 equals a "d" average. your GPA is calculated like this: for every "a" you get in a class you get four points, "b" is three points and so on. then you take the total number of points and divide it by the number of classes you have. this will give you your GPA.
