If it's awkward between you and Michael Lee... then I think you should move on because an awkward relationship is uncomfortable. You do not want to get in a position where you get hurt by a guy because it didn't work out. Do not go all out for a guy if the guy doesn't even put effort in the relationship, you know? The guy and the girl has to make things work for a relationship to seriously work out. As for Kaleb, he seems really cool from how you described him. Since you and Kaleb talk a lot, do you really like him more than a friend? Would he accept you as a girlfriend and does he have feelings for you aside being just friends? Think about it because if you break up with Michael Lee too soon, you might regret it but then again, like you said, it wouldn't work out anyway. But I think you should confront Michael Lee about this awkwardness and why it's so hard to talk to him & as for Kaleb, make sure, you want to be with him. It's ok if he lives in Hawaii. If you truly feel some connection, vibe, etc. with him... go for it!
