i'm 15/female/virginia
how can i move out of my house and into a house like the seton house? like i cannot stay in my house. i can't. dont try to tell me to stay because you dont know the circumstances, but how can i get out of my house? (link)

i had a friend who felt this way.. and first off DONT RUN AWAY! they can call the cops and all it does is make it look like your crazy and all they can do really is send you back home if theres no type of abuse or if they dont provide food, shelter, education, and clothing, and i believe theres one more i can remember. buttt i recommend that you strait up tell your parents you CAN NOT live at home. tell them why, and be honest. tell them you are asking they help you and maybe you can move in with a relative.

try this site. its for children who are in a foster care it gives you an idea of what there about. worst case you can contact them and ask them what you can do in order to move out. dont be specific on what it exactly is, because they could get involved just speak of it as if things were bad.. DONT GIVE OUT ANY INFORMATION AND DONT CALL FROM YOUR HOUSE NUMBER..i swear those places like can track you down almost if its like 911.. so i've heard that is i could be wrong but to be on the safe side.. and if they try asking you what it is DONT jsut tell them. foster homes aren't as fun as it seems. now adays people take care of foster children just for money they'd recieve from the state thats required whenever you take a child into your home like that. and alot of the times they treat you just as bad as your real family if not even worse.

i live in CA by the way, but i will do it. anything to help you out i can do. ill search for some other solutions and if i do ill re-edit my advice.
