Q: I'm 14/f, and want to tone my thighs/abs for the summer. Since I don't exercise that much, I thought maybe I could start walking.

Does walking burn a lot of calories? I'm not lazy, but I don't want to waste all that time walking if it wont work, when I could be doing something else instead. How long should I walk for each day to make a difference? Thanks ;D
100 calories per mile. walking is a great way to lose weight and tone up
