Q: i miss my cousin alot. we went to a family reunion today. i dont see her that much. but today she just left and went with the guys cousins. she wore heavy black makeup and creepy dark clothes. shed rather go play football and other stuff then be with me. she is older than me by a few years. i got her phone and was going through it and it was all guys and 2 girls calls numbers and texts. and her music was all dead and screaming stuff. her 'best friend' came and instead of saying hi they just huged then started kissing ewww sick. she always wears arm things with holes. then he pushed it down and it was all scares and he said shes getting better? better from what? could it be a car accident or something bad? she says she hates amos whats a amo? why does she hate them? who are they? i dont think she knows i exsist anymore we used to be best friends i thought. is best friend some kind of code word? is something wrong with her? or anything? how do i get her back? at the end she said 'i saw you watching us what did you see if you tell anyone ill die'. i know she would shed do something like that. what do i do? by myself.
The cuts on her wrists are probably from cutting herself, which is no accident. She was at one point seriously hurting herself, maybe caused by something like depression.

If you ask me, i'd say she's going through a 'phase'. Or a stage.

By amo she's probably referring to 'Emo' which means emotive hard core. It was originally a term for a type of mmusic, but has been adapted to mean anything from emotional to punk or just really different. She's probably saying she hates people who are emo because she'd like to think they're all posers, or immitating punk or goth.

It's normal when someone is going through a stage like this to change their clothes; and in this case, the punk, or 'emo', thing to do is to wear dark clothes, dark make-up, and arm warmers.

She's changed since you've last saw her, which is evident, but there isn't much that you personally can do about it since you're younger and she might not listen. There's nothing wrong with her exactly, she just seems to be giving into peer pressure, or trying to change her life drastically. She probably has suffered from depression (wheather it was diagnosed or not), which could be the cause for cutting herself, and being overly affectionate with boys, and her drastic attitude change.

You both seem to be really different people at this point in your lives, and you shouldn't try to relate to her if it's just not there. You could confront her parents or your parents to find out what is really going on with her, or ask her yourself.

Straighten out the facts before you make a snap judgement.

thanks
