I'm a vegan. I like glam rock and androgynous males. I have two cats. they're mystical beings. I'm going to college in less than a month.
advice
As of Today, I'm becoming a vegetarian. So far its been good. The only problem I will probably is the fact that I've been so used to eating chicken and turkey. Everyday at Lunch, I would normally eat a wrap with Turkey in it. and then sometimes I would get a healthy choice or lean cousine, and that would ALWAYS have some sort of meat in it. wither its meat sauce, chicken, etc.
What kind of foods can I eat instead of what i normally eat? What foods have enough protein? I'm also trying to loose weight, if that helps. but its not the reason i'm becoming vegetarian.
Oh, I'm 16/f. if that helps.
Sorry if that was long. and Thank you in advance.
if you normally ate lean cuisine or pre-packaged meals like that and you're used to that style of cooking, check out the Amy's line. It's all vegetarian and easy to prepare. But you really should be learning to cook. buy a couple of cookbooks and go to the grocery store. part of being a vegetarian or vegan is reading labels.
as for proper nutrition, you can monitor everything you eat and be really anal about it, or you can do what I do and eat a variety of things.
and finally, for wraps you can wrap a bunch of different things. avacado, carrot strips, lettuce, spinach, kale, mandarin oranges, fake meat, leftover mashed potatoes. experiment and have a good time and if you need any help, put one in my inbox. I went vegetarian april 1st, 2006 for three months and then went vegan and have been ever since.
