hey so when i paste a "hide my friends" code in the "about me" section...NO ONE AND I MEAN NO ONE CAN SEE MY FRIENDS RIGHT???????

it will hide your top friends, but people can still see your friends list. if they copy your friend ID into another link to a friends list. but i doubt anyone would do that.
