I'm full of random information, and I've found it to be veryyy helpful giving advice =] Plus I have ALOT of life experience so I feel that I could really help with anything. I won't lecture or judge you, because I am really trying to help you and answer your question. I know everybody says this but I really have been through it all, from family, relationship, and health prolems - I've been there. What kind of work out can i do with ankle weights to make my thigs less fat? i already do squats with out them but would they help? thanks in advance

first of all, targeting exercise is only effective for muscle building. if you are looking to lose weight on your thighs that can be done with any exercise for when fat burns it burns all over the body. you cannot JUST lose weight in one area.

but you can tone one area. this is done by building muscle while participating in regular exercise. This is the quickest way because as the fat burns the muscle shows through making the last couple pounds of fat less visable under the muscle.

squats really won't become more effective with ancle weights, but here are some activities that will...

-running
-leg lifts - laying flat on your back, arms at your side, while SLOWLY lifting your legs up in the air, and SLOWLY laying them back down. Holding them a couple inches from the ground for a minute while keeping your arms an your side and head down. Not only does this work out your legs but can be targeted towards your abs. keep your feet together.
- inner thigh lifts - laying on your side, lift your leg up and down slowly. with ancle weights this can be the best evercise available for you
