I do track with some of my friends who are juniors and I'm a freshman. Whenever we hang out we laugh soo much and we have a really good time but we never hang out outside of track and I want to, but I don't want to be like the clingy loser freshman girl or like I don't want to be like hey do you want to go the movies?!! and have them be like uh..actually I can't I have to do something.. I guess I just can't handle rejection haha. What should I do because I really don't want to sit around and wait for them to ask me. Help please :) (link)

Instead of just asking the juniors invite some of your freshman friends too. Say something kinda casually like, "Hey, I'm getting some people together to...."
If they laugh with you a lot on the team, I really doubt that they would say no unless they really did have something to do.
