advice

hiii [: i just signed up for
a gym and im just wondering what
equipment i could use to get rid
of my gut. ive been using the treadmill
and eliptical the past two times ive
been there. any suggestions would
be greatly apprecaited =]

Congrats. that is the first step!

Well, treadmill and elliptical are great machines but that's all cardio you also need some muscular so depending on machines you have there (which i wouldn't know because I'm not at your gym) i would ask one of the trainers who are there if they have any machines for that. There is also stuff which don't need machines for (IE: different styles of crunches). Besides working out, loosing weight whatever it may be is 70% diet. So make sure you are backing up your hard work with a good diet. Lean proteins like lean grilled chickens, tunas and salmons (out of the can or not), eggs, and tofu. Try not too eat many carbs and if you have to just try whole wheats. Fruits and veggies.
