i have liked this boy for almost five years. he has always liked me too, but he is a player. he talks to my best friend a lottt and he is currently talking to 2 other girls that i know of. it just sucks because i like him so much, i really do. im infatuated with him and i always have been. i NEVER get crushes, either. he tells my other friend that he thinks i am way prettier than my best friend and he always tries to talk to me but i jsut avoid it because i don't want to be used. if i like him, should i give him a chance even if i know he isnt so trusthworthy? im in an extremely similar situation right now, where my best friend just broke up with this kid that she really likes, that i also like. he likes me too. whenever shes not around, he talks to me alll the time and flirts like crazy, and then when shes around, i could just as well not exisist. he talks bad about her to me, and talks bad about me to her, and of course we defend eachother and tell eachother what he says. neither of us will give him a chance, because of this. he broke up with her multiple times before because of other girls. so, my advice would be not to give him a chance right now, until he kind of settles down, becuase if hes a player, chances are he wouldnt just stay with you. that doesnt mean later on you shouldnt, becuase people do chance.
