okay the debate is on "Nature Vs Nurture" nature means you were born evil and nurture means you were taught how to be evil by like enviromental influences and media and such. well i got put on the side of nature, and i dont agree with it all that much and ive found little research to back myself up and i dont want to look stupid arguing over something i have no idea about. i need some factual information and if you have any please help!
ok, i think what you might want to focus in for the sake of this argument is psychosis. people who suffer from psychosis or as we like to call them, crazy have no sense of right or wrong. you can technically base your argument on values and moralities but there are facts and moralities to this arguement. ok so to start let me explain crazy people's actions. people who suffer from psychosis often act in ways that are unacceptable in our society or commit actions that are against the law and could be viewed as evil. This is where values and morality comes in. because it depends on the definition of evil you want to use and it depends on who's sight this is in. harmful or tending harm is one definition of evil, so if you look at it this way, if i am harmful to someone by teasing them, does that make me evil. and are so called "evil" actions ever justified like in self-defense situations where i may harm someone to keep them from harming me. the next part of this debate that is based on facts is that someone who suffers from psychosis fears no consequences of their actions and cannot understand that they have done something wrong. so this could be a natural sense of evil for someone who does another harm and feels no guilt about it what so ever. "evil" people don't develop their evil qualities, they may just be mean, but is meanness evil? we need to ask ourselves this question. how can you determine who is evil and who is not? its a question that may never be answered and people who suffer from psychosis that fit one definition of evil are a strong example of evil by nature. i hope i helped and good luck, i'd love to know how you do.
(Rating: 5) thank you very much, and i will try and send you a message on how i made out tomorrow.
