I heard a lot that if you pull in your stomach or squeeze it in, it helps you lose weight (burn fat). Is that true? (link)
It's not exactly pulling in your stomach; what you want to do is tense your stomach muscles. The difference is that pulling in your stomach is sort of collapsing your abs. On the other hand, if you tighten your abs (think the way you would respond if someone was about to punch you in the stomach, or maybe when you try to breathe out really forcefully) you're actually using the muscle, so it's more like weight training. THAT burns fat.
