Q: Why is it that i'm not allowed to change my belly button ring for 6 months after i got it done? Would somthing bad happen if i did (it's about a month later)? If i did it really carefully and made sure it was really clean.
Well I have a facial piering, but it's the same reason.

You leave the piercing in, in order for it to heal, the constant changing of piercings may cause an infection if it isn't properly sanatized.
Keeping in the orignal for a while insures that the piercing is properly put in and sanatized.

You may not want to wait six months,but if you feel the piercing is helaed and not still fresh and you disinfect the new ring, it should be alright.
