hey my names ashley and i love music its like my life and my friends mean soo much to me and im one of those crazy advice columnists that has more problems then the people on here do but anyway theres only 3 things i cant stand my hugest pet peeves #1 the word ex-boyfriend (personal issue ... oh boy) #2 liars and #3 couples who say i love you after less then a month and couples who say i love you and dont actually mean it so basically i love this site and giving advice because i plan on being a psychologist when i get older so bring on the questions ill answer them all!

okay, i never had a boyfriend before up until last week. he's coming over sometime in the next few days. i think we're watching a movie but anyways. there's a few problems.
1. my dad doesn't like the fact that i'm dating guys and he'll probably say no. how can i convince him to get to know him? my boyfriend is probably one of the sweetest guys in the world..i just don't know how to get my dad too give it a chance.
2. how can i make this night, not so boring? like, i've never been kissed before or anything, and i don't know what he's expecting of me. so we watch a movie, and then what? board games?
3. does everyone feel so insecure when they start dating? or is just me?

1. okay well if your dad doesnt like that prove to him your mature enough to deal with a boyfriend and my suggestion is have him meet your dad for like dinner at your house or something like that and it will be nervewacking but if hes as sweet as you say your dad will see it too! =]
2. well first off DONT feel pressured to kiss him if you want to go for it if not then dont rush it watch a movie and just chill it wont be boring if u reallyyy like eachother then just the fact that your together will make it fun.
3. sometimes but dont feel insecure he obviously likes you if hes dating you so enjoy it and just be happy with him and most of all DONT WORRY and BE HAPPY! =]
