And lately, i've discovered that one of the best answers for relationship problems is communication. talk. explain. share. it does wonders.

STORY: The two players are Elaine and her mother. Elaine was always skinny. Elaine's mother told Elaine; I am really worried when we go to the birthday party that if someone told you that you got so thin, that you read into it and think that they never thought you were thin; Elaine says; Well doesn't it mean that? And her mother said; No, you would just hear it that way.You were always thin. Elaine told her friends the story and they said; what your mom is saying is that you were always thin, and everyone who knows you from past and present knows you are thin, but it just means they noticed you got thinner; MY QUESTION: DO YOU AGREE WITH ELAINEs FRIENDS?
i think elaine's mom is saying that when you go to the party, people will tell you you're thin and that you'll think that they never noticed you were thin before. So technically, elaine's friends are partially right in that 'you were always thin' but if people just told elaine NOW that she's thin, she'd assume she was't thin before... something like that.. did that make sense? the story itself was somewhat confusing.
(Rating: 5) You know for someone who said that my story was confusing you sure hit it right on the money.
