I'm only offering you options, choices, and personal advice. I can give you facts, rules, and personal statements. Whether or not you choose to use my advice or not is your own decision but please, respect it. I refuse to sugar coat anything, and I hate saying google it- infact I refuse to use google as verb.
advice
I am a 15 years old girl and I wear glasses. I really want to wear contacts. My parents told me that I couldn't have them. But they tend to be persuaded when great effort is put forth. Its just I don't know what to tell them other than I don't like wearing glasses because the way they feel and look.[that isnt good enough for them;i already tried]
Here are some things about me that may help
-cheerleader
-actress [right now only for plays]
-Pre-International Baccalaureate Student [hardest school program in the world;no exaggeration]
-model(only for my church's fashion show)
If anyone could come up with some ideas or FACTS about the benefits of contacts it would be A BIG HELP!
First off I don't think that being a model for church would help persuade your contacts situation.
-However, you do have a lot of reason to have them. Cheerleading first off- requires you to jump around and your glasses can be comprimised in those situations (being broke for instance).
-Sometimes wearing glasses which are not glare proof under stage lights makes your eyes sore and tiered.
-If That school thing is a very difficult school then they should reward you for even being a part of it.
-A girl cannot always wear glasses, they just can't. When you want to go out to a party or really fancy black dress occasion you do not want to wear glasses. It just doesn't look nice. So try and ask them to have contacts for those type of occasions.
(Rating: 4) Thank you so much. But I need some facts about contacts.
