i am abuot to be 14 this month. i go buy bras at target caus im to shy to ask for one yet. and i havent started my period

well...no one really knows when they get their period...everyone gets them at different times...this one girl i know didn't get it until she was 16!no...don't wear a pad every day...carry one in your purse/backpack,just in case...don't be shy to confront your mom...at first you might feel a little nervous...but remember...she's been through what your going through...
