I bought my first digital camera last January (Polaroid iZone 300 with 3.2 megapixels). In my opinion, it's a horrible camera. The pictures don't come out very clear and the battery dies extremely fast no matter how long I charge it for. Plus, it can record videos, but it doesn't record sound. What good is that?
So basically what I'm trying to say is that I'm not very good at picking out a digital camera and I need someone's help. I'm getting one for xmas and I get to pick it out.
My "requirements": no more than $250, able to record videos with sound. (link)

Wow you can live with that kind of camera? I'm glad you're getting on for chrismtas..cuz you should consider looking for a Canon. Those are getting cheaper and the quality is really great even with a price lower than 250. The new ones that are out are 299, and I am soo jealous of my friend who has it. It is user friendly, easy to fit anywhere, not too big nor small, and it's fast at taking pictures, AND the picture turns out looking great.
:) Hope that helped!
