I have a male dachshund 3 yrs old (yes the the that pees in the house ) I just had my female fixed 8 days ago. And My puppy(her son) nine month old Piebald,got ran over yesterday ( still crying)I need to know if i can breed the dad with his daughter? As i have 2 of his daughters in the area. And life isnt the same without a puppy ! And hoping for another Piebald.

I wouldn't suggest breeding two dogs from the same family, as the puppy could have high chances of coming out with defects.

(Rating: 4) I spoke with a Vet. He said Mother/Son is a Big NO NO.Thats why i had my female fixed.Not knowing my male puppy was gonna get killed 7 days later. But he did say..It can be done..not recomended....... but can be done ..So how do i take that? TY N Wade
