Ok, im 13/F and im semi-cool. What I mean is the guys like me as a friend and stuff and Im never alone on a slow dance. I also hang out with the popular kids. See but people say im too nice and too smart and I find that lots of people are calling me a looser behind my back. I know I shouldnt care but it does affect me. All my clothes are brand name and Ive never done anything to the people "above" me. This one girl (shes in top 3) has started alotta rumors about me and even though everyone at school thinks I dont mind so they ALL play along it still hurts. Im really good friends with all the guys and I was wondering what I could do to well........be more popular. (Please no U shouldnt care or stuff like that, I already know that but I do so ya) (link)

Ok, im not going to say that all this popularity stuff doesnt matter, because at your age, it really does. Just remember though, alot of the time when people are calling you a loser, they are intimidated by you. You just need to tell thsi girl to stop saying crap about you behind your back. Its really hard though to "try to be more popular" because alot of the popular people are like that without trying. seriousally just keep being the person that you are, and being friends with who are you friends with. There is really no such thing as being too nice or too smart, because those 2 things will get you super far in life beyond high school
