My friend, Stephanie, called my friend, Ellie, a b*tch behind her back. Ellie asked me if Stephanie called her that and I said "I think so" (it happened weeks ago, so I didn't really remember). Now Ellie's parents did something and Stephanie is in trouble. Stephanie yelled at me and said that it was all my fault. Did I do the right thing by telling Ellie what Stephanie said?

yes yes yes yes. if someone says something bad about one of your friends, they have a right to know about it. stephanie shouldnt have said that in the first place. she knew what she was getting into. just explain to stephanie that ellie had a right to know and its her own fault for saying it.
