♥ I had this column awhile ago, but I recently stopped using it.. I like deleted everything. But I decided to start giving advice again! I'm Becky, 16 years old, leave a question in my inbox, I elaborate more on those questions!

Alrite, Well i have recently been talking to this guy in another state. (for about like 2 months now). so about a month ago he told me that he like realli had feelings for me and asked me to be his girlfriend and i agreed. well, i realli love him alot and it sounds like realli dumb but we have already talked about like,getting married and shit..well it sounds like a cute little fairy tale rite? WRONG! ok i was just talking to him like 10 min ago on MSN and i was like, "do your parents know about me" and hes like, "yea and they fully support me. do your parents know?" and im like, "not yet" and hes like, "well u know your going to have to tell them"
so my question is how do i tell my dad (i dont have a mom) that i fell in love with a guy i met on an on-line chat room? Oh Yea, Did I Mention I Am Only 14. So Yea, Im 14 in Love With a 16 year old i met online in a chat room that lives in another state.....how do i tell my dad?

I don't believe in online relationships at all. !!! You cannot be in love with someone that you have talked to for two months online...you cannot be sure who he is. He could be a 40-year-old man. But anyways, do you think you dad will approve of this? If you don't think he would, it's not the right thing to do. As for your question...tell your dad that you have a boyfriend, but don't tell him about the internet part yet. And then when he asks you questions about him you can tell him. Hopefully he approves, for your sake, but I definately don't. Just saying. Good luck.
