I am currently "going out" with a 6th grader and I am an 8th grader. I normally like taller guys, but hes shorter. and hes really sweet.cute. and i like him a lot. but im so self concious and i worry too much about what other people think

Girl, stop worrying about what other people say. I know its easier said than done, but trust me. If you really like him, dont let other people's thoughts contradict how you feel and what you do. And as far as you being too old for him...NO, youre not too old for him. If you are an 8th grader and he is a 6th grader then you two are not too far apart in age. But I see where youre coming from. If being with him makes you happy, then go for it.
