okay .. so let`s start with the names of the two people in this problem - their names are Robby and Brooke. i`m BEST FRIENDS with both of them, and they`ve been going out for four months. about two weeks ago, Brooke told Robby that she didn`t like him anymore. so they broke up. and now they don`t talk anymore.
okay, so the other day Robby told me that he liked me, and he asked me out. i told him that i`d need a few days to think about it, and he said that it was fine. then today, Brooke IMed me. she was saying something like, "i`m really upset that Robby likes you because i miss him, and i like him again. and i want him back".
HERE`S MY PROBLEMS ..
1.) i don`t know if i should go out with Robby. my last relationship ended with my boyfriend cheating on me with one of my best friends. so now we hate eachother. i don`t want to ruin what i already have with Robby. but i mean .. Robby`s a great guy. and he`s funny. and he`s everything i want. and we both know that we`d have a lot of fun going out. are the nerves just getting to me ? or what ?
2.) if i say yes to Robby, Brooke will be ticked at me. and if i say no to Robby, then he`ll be heartbroken. and he`ll know that i did it because i don`t want to hurt Brooke.
this is really confusing. so please help me ?

well i dont really know if i can help but ill try. ok what i think is that you should think about whats more important to you.brooke or robby?
think about this.. do you really really like robby. like enough to risk your friendship with brook. if you do really like him then brooke should understand. she let him go which means that hes free for any girl that crosses his mind. she should understand that. but first before you do anything make sure robby really likes you. he might just be confused about brooke so he thought he probbaly needed someone to help him. is there a possibility that he might be confusing a great friendship with love/like? dont do something that you might regret. also have in mind that a good friendship is not worth loosing over a guy. hope i helped! goodluck!!
