Hi, my name is dannielle, and im a little shy and very sensitive. I just started college in august and i have been felling very lonely, the campus is big and i am always walking usually alone, but every now and then i find one of my highschool friends to hang with, but rarely. I jus feel like no one likes me, and i feel so alone there, i don't know why. Im always caring what others think about me and i hate that i jus want to be myself but im scared to cuz poeople might not like me, so i where clothes that im sure others will not criticize me for, im just so tired of being so paraoid, and feeling so down on myself. can u help me, anything would help!! thanks :)

First I'm going to say that I know how you feel, I felt the same why when I moved to a high school of 1,000 kids from a small farming town. Now that I'm in college, I'm past all that and you'll get past it too. The one thing you have to remember is that if someone doesn't like you, then it is there loss. Lately, I've just been talking to random people at my college, and most of them are nicer then nice. Anouther good way to make friends is to set up some study groups.. then you are learning and hanging out at the same time! I hope I helped. Good luck.
