hey. i am looking to get into acting, but i need some answers to a couple questions as soon as possible. all help is appreciated.
-first off, as for an audition, your agent gets you those, right? what happens at an audtition?
-as for an agent, how do you get one? my friends mom said you have to write the agency a letter saying why they should represent you included with a headshot and resume. is that true?
-as for a resume, what if i have no prior experience? what do i put on the resume?
-honestly, how hard is it? like, what are your chances of getting a part?

Your agent will sign you up and will you playrolls in movies and yes, get you into auditions. Yes, you must write to a worthwhile agency and prove them why they should represent you. Get in Drama Classes ( not in school) and sign up for plays and such that will be major plusses. You want to have good charisma and be ready, i'll describe to you my audition, it all depends what you sign for if it's acting then they will give you a script that is like an ad for something popular (i had to do pepsi). You will be taken into a room with most likely some other girls/boys and have to playrole the script they gave you infront of them and a video camara. They also will give you a questionaire about personal things (e.g bust size), AND make you write an essay on why they should support you if you succeed in the audition. Hope I helped!
