hi. I am a 13/f and i started my period about 6 months ago. I play soccer alot and do track in school. I have never used a tampon, only pads. My mom wont bring the subject up and i'm too nervous to ask her how to use it or if I can use them. PLEASE HELP!!!! my soccer tournament is in a few weeks and thats when my next period is supposed to come! any advice on how my mom can bring up the subject? or how i can get the nerve to talk to her about this?? should i just not tell her and just use one?? but i've never used one before and i'm nervous and dont know how to use one. ok its just a tampon. so i dont see why your mom would care but i dont know your mom. so if theres something about your mom that your leaving out (is she strict real uptight upset easily)) that makes you extremely uncomfortable about bringing it up then just take it apon your self to get some tampax is a good brand and tampons come with instructions and if your mom finds out its not like you stole booze or started smoking there just tampons and im sure shell get over it and forgive you id hope so and if you have any more problems or questions just ask.
