Heyy my name is Alisha i'm 13 and i'm only in the 8th grade but I'm always the one people come to for advice becuase usually i know the solution so don't be afraid to ask away. Anyway um i love to play hockey, soccer, and baseball so i'm atchletic but when i'm alone in my room singing and acting is my love. Acting is so much fun to me and i have a lot of friends that enjoy it too. I enjoy acting but singing is something I'm really good at and something i would love to do for the rest of my life. Last night my step-dad beat me. He's done it before, but last night was the worst it has ever been. I called the police and they came to examine me, but they didn't find any marks. But TODAY my face is REALLY swollen and bruised up. What should I do to make him get in the trouble that he deserves? I can't call CPS because I've already had three cases with all of them with the same problem, but they have all been dropped. I'm tired of being hit and I want him in jail. (link)

well first of all i am so sorry this is happening to you and you really do not diserve this. The only way to get him in jail would be by telling another adult. Maybe go tell your friend's parents. I'm sure they could help. If you're other cases have been dropped then maybe they're just not believing you. YOu need an adults opinion to stop all of this. OR you can run away to a friends house and then your step dad should call the police and you can explain why you ran away when they find you. I'm praying for you that those will work.
